Ken Wu
Founder and Executive Director
Ken has worked in the environmental movement for over three decades, first volunteering for his Calgary high school environmental club in 1990. He was the Co-founder and Executive Director of the Ancient Forest Alliance between 2010 to 2018, and served as the Executive Director and Campaign Director of the Wilderness Committee in Victoria between 1999 to 2010. He graduated from the ecology and evolutionary biology department at the University of British Columbia and previously worked as a biologist, tree-planter, and math tutor.
JoJo Beattie
Executive Assistant and Digital Editor
JoJo has a background in international relations and over a decade of experience in communications, media relations, and public affairs, including several years as Press Secretary and Creative Director for the BC Green Caucus. During her time as constituency assistant for Saanich North and the Islands, she was guided by the W̱SÁNEĆ teaching, “you look after them, and they will look after you,” seeing reciprocity as the key to sustainability. A storyteller who believes that when people understand the issues and the evidence behind them, they are better equipped to make decisions that benefit communities and the environment.
Anne-Sophie Rodet

Whether she's observing marine life from her floathouse, mountain unicycling on the local North Shore trails, or going on a multi-day hike in the alpine, Anne-Sophie loves the outdoors and is amazed by nature. She wanted to bring her 20 years of experience in administration and management to an organization that works concretely on protecting the environment.
