Help support the Endangered Ecosystems Alliance (EEA) raise $40,000 for our “Earth Day (April 22) to International Environment Day (June 5) Fundraising Drive”.
The EEA is now over 5 years old and, thanks to your support, we've grown into a very powerful force in Canada's conservation movement, with almost 200,000 supporters on various platforms and 5 staff!
If you like our emphasis on protecting Canada’s most endangered and least protected ecosystems (where the “battles” against the extinction and much of the climate crises are most intensive), engaging non-traditional allies (eg. businesses, unions, faith groups, multi-cultural outreach, etc.) beyond the traditional environmental movement to build strength, directly supporting First Nations communities to establish new protected areas, and employing science-based, strategic campaigns that help to expand and deepen public awareness with accurate, real information and in-depth, critical insights – then please SUPPORT us as generously as you can! You will help an innovative and ground-breaking organization that gets major results and that punches far above our weight. See our News section for some of our work.
Nationally, we are working to ensure ecosystem-based targets in forthcoming federal protected areas legislation and are drafting an “Endangered Ecosystems Act”
In BC we have intense campaigns aiming g for a strong Biodiversity and Ecosystem Health Framework policy that includes stringent “ecosystem-based protection targets” to guide the coming expansion of the protected areas system and conservation reserve system, including to protect the Endangered old-growth forests in BC.
We also continue to work on numerous educational videos on the diversity of amazing but endangered ecosystems across Canada, which you will see soon!
Our social media channels now reach over 150,000 Canadians, and we are working to raise awareness on the diversity of endangered ecosystems and related campaigns across the country!
Please help our small but mighty team protect endangered ecosystems across Canada!
