Resolution For the Protection of Endangered Ecosystems in BC

The protection of nature is vital not only to counteract the extinction and climate crises, but also to benefit human health and to help foster a more diverse, resilient and prosperous economy. Please join the growing chorus of businesses, non-profit organizations, and other groups in asking the British Columbian government to commit to the key policies, targets and funding to expand the protected areas system in BC, including by protecting the magnificent old-growth forests in the province.

The Endangered Ecosystem’s Alliance engages “non-traditional allies” to broaden the environmental movement. Greater engagement of businesses, unions, diverse faith groups, and various non-profits will greatly strengthen the ability to achieve conservation policies. We are working to help bring these diverse groups into a collective voice calling for the protection of endangered ecosystems across the province.

As the leader of your organization, we want you to join this movement. Please read and sign the resolution calling on our provincial governments to protect BC’s endangered ecosystems.

If you are not legally authorised to sign on behalf of your organisation, we encourage you to send a message, as an individual, to government urging them to protect the province’s endangered ecosystems.

If you have any further questions or require any further information, please email us at info@endangeredecosystemsalliance.org
